The College Alumni of La Consolacion College in Bacolod City will hold its 10th year alumni homecoming tomorrow in celebration of the 92nd Foundation Day of the school, a press release from organizers said.
Registration will start at 1 p.m. The alumni will be treated with a campus tour, followed by an assembly and election of officers for 2011-2013 at the auditorium.
Another feature of the homecoming is the “Family Dog Show” at the Quadrangle that is open to all, the press release said.
To highlight the affair is the foundation night at 6 p.m., which will be attended not only by the college but also by high school alumni, and those who will be celebrants of the general alumni homecoming on September 4, 2011 sponsored by the La Consolacion College Alumni Association, Inc., the press release said.
Fifty college alumni will be given the honors of “LCCian Gid.”
Registration fee is P200 which will include dinner and a raffle ticket with the following prizes: grand prize – Sony 32” LCD television set; second prize – 10.1 netbook, Lenovo S10-3C (IBM); third prize – 7” Touchscreen tablet PC; and four fourth Prizes – 4Gb flash drive and door prizes, the press release added.*

La Consolacion College Bacolod alumni will hold a Foundation Day get-together entitled "LCC: Towards 100 Years and Beyond," to commemorate the 92nd Foundation Day of the school on March 12.
The day's highlights include the traditional Thanksgiving Mass in the morning, and in the afternoon, the 1st Foundation Day Fun Match Dog Show, the College Alumni Meeting and Election of Officers for 2011-2013, and "Waka Wacky Alumni Night" in the evening, a press release from college alumni president Andrea Si said.
The program in the evening will feature the 2nd LCCian Gid Awards, Waka Wacky dances and activities, recognition of alumni celebrating their jubilees, and a raffle. In keeping with the theme for the evening, alumni are expected to come in their wackiest attire.
The school will be welcoming alumni beginning March 10, when the Alumni Art Exhibit, Memory Wall, and sponsors booths will open to the public at the college ground floor. Alumni who have not been to LCC for awhile will be guided by students around the new facilities of the school, the press release said.
Activities are organized by the College Alumni, with the duly recognized alumni organization, ARFIEN Forever Inc.
Dinner is pot-luck but the registration fee includes a chance to win the raffle and a stub for a basic meal and drink, the press release said.Read more
