 Functional English Course is an individualized skill-base, Function oriented language course that makes use of the Communicative Approach to language instruction.
Learners are made to experience language through various stimulated activities where they produce language in “unrehearsed” situation, which demand both receptive and productive creativity, and use it spontaneously to express themeselves, negotiate meaning, get things done, and simply survive in the speech community of English speakers.
The course is divided into three phases14: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advance.
