La Consolacion College Bacolod is one of the pioneer member-academes of the newly created Center for Environmental Initiatives of the Province of Negros Occidental. Committed to its thrust for environmental protection and sustainable development, LCC Bacolod is actively involved in the greater cause for environmental education and action.

The CEI logo, which overlays on the map of Negros simply depicts the Center’s incessant endeavor to protect the environment of Negros as symbolized by an emerging green leaf on the surface of the water. The emergence of these “green” efforts spreads throughout the different sectors of the society that share the common cause of protecting the environment - LGUs, NGOs, POs, and the academe.

This is signified by the rippling effect of the water. The logo’s catch-phrase “Building a Greener Negros” in multi-color capsulizes the Center’s encompassing ways of securing an environment-friendly Nergos by way of discussing, processing, and addressing issues and concerns affecting the environment through its bi-monthly forum.

The dominance of color green in the entire logo speaks of the supreme purpose for which the Center for Environmental Initiatives was created and established.
